Automation the verification process of recognized car plates

After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there was a need to quickly identify any cars listed as stolen or suspected of being utilized by saboteurs. The goal was to eliminate the manual process of checking vehicles against lists of stolen or suspicious ones using printed lists and to improve the recognition rate of the surveillance cameras used by the National Police.

The Car Plate Recognition Video Analytics project helped automize the verification process of recognized car plates and facilitate quick checks and subsequent notifications to law enforcement agencies, as the notification about identifying suspicious vehicles appears three seconds after the image with the recognized car shows up in our system.
