Description
Identify where people can access defibrillators across the region
Providing medical aid quickly in life-threatening situations drastically increases the patient’s chance of survival. Internationally, you can find defibrillators in public places such as railway and metro stations, airports, shopping malls, etc. Being able to access a defibrillator in an emergency can be the difference between life or death.
Recently, defibrillators have started rolling out across Ukraine. To help the public find their locations, SoftServe IT Academy students—under the guidance of company mentors—developed a website and a mobile application that displays up-to-date information about each defibrillator’s site across Lviv.
This resource will increase the public’s knowledge of where to find a defibrillator alongside the contact information and working hours of the location. And if someone finds that the map is missing a defibrillator, the website and app allow them to add it to the list.
